What is happening during Myofascial Release
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY TREATS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM.
Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures on pain sensitive structures. These pressures do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography etc.) and are therefore mostly left out of the treatment cycle. MFR Therapy specifically treats these tensile pressures.
MFR Therapy treats the cause of the problem in order to eliminate the symptoms. Through MFR Therapy, permanent changes can be made to the body’s structure, to help you to return to a pain free and active life style.
